511, the Halesworth Hoppa, Bus Service

HACT (Halesworth Area Community Transport Limited) provides the 511 bus service in and around Halesworth. It is manned by friendly and helpful volunteer drivers who assist passengers on and off the bus.

The 511 Community Bus provides a direct link between Holton and Halesworth, connecting you with the doctors, dentists, hospital and shops.

Your Community Bus is to be seen buzzing around the town on most weekday mornings and afternoons. It is there for all to use whether you are young or old or whether you have a concessionary pass or not. You can hail the bus anywhere along its route and the driver will give you assistance on and off with your shopping or pushchair if necessary or even divert off the route, for a short distance, to deliver you to your door, at the drivers discretion, if you are mobility impaired.
