Halesworth Minibus Community Group Hires with Driver
Why not get HACT to do the driving for your Community Group function? HACT is the Community Transport Service for Halesworth and District and if you live in Halesworth you will see our regular 511 service nipping around the town during the week.
Our buses are available, outside operating hours, for Community Groups to hire with a driver provided by us, allowing you to relax and enjoy yourself without the worry of driving. We have three buses for this purpose, all sixteen seaters , providing a flexible service collecting and dropping passengers at their doors, if required. Two of these buses have wheelchair access if required. (Pre-booking for wheelchairs is a necessity) We cannot accomadate electric wheelchairs due to weight restrictions.
| Minibus Community Hire Charge
The cost of the bus hire with driver is £100 for a day or evening hire. For more details contact the office on 01986 875900 or office@hactbus.co.uk. The final charge is subject to the mileage done which will be charged at £1.50 per mile after the first thirty miles. For more information, please call, email or pop into our office any morning. We offer hires all over the UK. We regularly cover, Norwich, London and all over East Anglia. Our hires are for community groups and all our drivers are fully qualified bus drivers and volunteers who give up their time to help the community get to functions that public transport cannot cover. We pride ourselves in combating soccial isolation as many of our passengers live is very rural locations and cannot access trains and everyday transport. If you need to book a hire with us we will need to request that you provide Personally Identifiable Information (PII)for the purposes of booking and payment.
